The ninth podcast should be uploaded here by tonight, methinks. I suggest dropping your jaws now to save time, because this show is a real sizzler. I'm still working out kinks in my schedule, but I'll be back to something regular pretty soon. How often have I said that here? Oh well.
In the meantime, read this essay I wrote about professional wrestling. It sort of sloughed off from my senior seminar paper and became something apparently publishable. And it's nice to be able to tell other wrestling fans that I'm a published author on the subject, if only because it makes my angry smarking sound more important.

eighth one!
FINALLY.
Jesus, was this one a long time in coming, but my schedule cleared up a little today, so I got a chance to put up a new Brasserie. Still not sure what my new address will be, but hopefully that will all get sorted out next week. Of course, I've been saying that for a while now, but hopefully the fates will align in my favor for goddamned once.

another update!
Moving sucks. Or rather, getting cheated by people you were going to move in with sucks. Hence the lack of podcast. It's done, I just need the time to upload and post it, and since there are only 24 hours in a day, I haven't yet. But I will. Courage!

update!
Eighth podcast is coming, I swear. But the recent move and work have delayed it for a bit. It'll be up this week, and hopefully the normal schedule will resume afterwards.

seventh one!
And the beat goes on, in the words of a band I sadly lack the rights/permission to play (the Screamers, in case you care). Sorry this one's up late, but it's been a busy week, what with preparing to move and all. Still not sure where I'm headed, but the list is narrowing down ever so slowly.
Very stoked about Alternative Tentacles reissuing the Eat, which I found out about after I decided to include them on the show. It's cool that AT is putting out some of these "Killed By Death" bands that would be lost to time otherwise, and a worthwhile endeavor as long as they don't overdo it. But given Jello Biafra's perpetual disdain for nostalgia, I don't think that'll happen.
Anydangways, here's this week's cast.
And the playlist:
Me First and the Gimmie Gimmies - Ghost Riders In the Sky
the Legendary Two Man Trio - Platinum High
Cowboy Killers - Wake Up
the Beat Machine - TV War
Dirty Tactics - Moving Out and Moving On
the Eat - Jimmy B. Good
the Fartz - Injustice
the Spectres - Comin' Home
Electric Eel Shock - My Tiger
Speed Crazy - Psycho
Those Unknown - What We're Sayin'
Dead End - Soldier Boy
the Spooky - Phantoms of New Orleans
Boozehounds - My Brain Hurts
Ubangi Stomp - Jinxed
Victim - Hang On To Yourself
Gorilla - Too Much for Your Heart
Love Machine - David Comes to Life
Swingin' Utters - Next In Line
Hillbilly Moon Explosion - Fish Outta Water

sixth one!
Man, am I glad I discovered vocal beds. They make the vocal portions of the show much easier to listen to, and finding stuff to play in the background is kinda fun. Gives me a chance to use stuff I otherwise wouldn't have a spot for.
Do you guys read Questionable Content? You should.

fifth one!
Man, it's nice to be able to upload all this stuff myself thanks to Filenanny, brought to my attention by one John Rudy. I'm also indebted to Fat Wreck Chords, who gave me permission to play as much of their stuff as my little heart desires. That frees up a good portion of my CD collection for broadcast here, so a big thanks to them.
There's also a DK's Brasserie Facebook group, so join it if you feel so inclined.
With that said, here's the 'cast.
